Regenerative Medicine represents a newtherapeutic approach aimed at the biologicalreconstruction of a tissue or an organ ratherthan replacing it. Adapting to the genetic andmolecular profile of the individual patient,Regenerative Medicine integrated with theuse of stem cells can develop targetedtherapies, diagnoses, prognoses and solutions,creating a sort of "personalized medicine".Thanks to the use of this "new medicine" andstem cells, in the future it will be possible tothink not only about the cure of the disease orits symptoms, but above all the identification
of the causes of the disease, thus improvingthe quality of life of the patients. Stem cellsare the new frontier of RegenerativeMedicine, Biotechnology and Bioengineeringstudies. It is the need to combine theknowledge of different and increasinglycomplex disciplines that can lead to innovativesolutions.
These seminars are intended to be acontribution to deepening the future ofresearch and its applications in regenerativetherapies.
