Preparing for the event is simple! Here is what you’ll need in order to get ready:

STEP 1. Check your streaming times! ҋ Go to HeroesHomeEdition.org ҋ Under “Heroes VBS Live”, click on “Schedule”. You can choose English or Spanish. ҋ If your time zone is not listed, go to thetimezoneconverter.com. Type your desired time on

the left. Select the time zone you would like to convert to on the right. The site will automati- cally calculate the time difference for you.

ҋ Mark your streaming times on your calendar. Set an alarm to remind your family when to tune in!

STEP 2. Follow Our Social Media Pages to view the live streams ҋ We will be streaming on multiple pages. Choose ONE of these social media platforms to

STEP 3. Connect with Google Classrooms for daily challenges, activities and information ҋ You MUST have a private gmail account in order to use google classrooms. If you do not have

a gmail account, you can create one at gmail.com. Click “create account” and follow the page instructions.

ҋ If you already have a gmail account, type classroom.google.com into your web browser ҋ Sign in using your gmail username and password ҋ Click the + symbol in the top right of your screen and click “join Class” ҋ The Google Classroom code is: fkv3qoa

STEP 4. Create a Kahoot account to play with other families in our trivia games ҋ Download the Kahoot App on your phone or type kahoot.it in your web browser ҋ Check google classrooms under “kahoot” section for daily pin numbers, game times, and

detailed instructions on how to play. ҋ You can watch the live play sessions on our streaming platforms. Before we begin the game

we will broadcast the pin number that is listed in google classrooms. Type this pin into the game pin box and click enter.

STEP 5. Share how you are participating!

ҋ Google Classrooms ◦ Complete daily challenge assignments on google classrooms to earn virtual badges ◦ Join in on the discussion boards to talk about our daily topics ◦ Submit photos and videos you would like to share in our VBSlive review movies
