STEP BY STEP GUIDE – ELECTRONIC TENDERING VIA WIZARD

1. Enter www.treasury.gov.za and click on OCPO

2. Click on “ONLINE SUBMISSIONS”

3. The Electronic Tendering site opens up. Enter your Username Usercode and

Password

4. Click CONTINUE

5. You now view the “supplier” view of the system. Do click on the RESPONSE

WIZARD icon

6. Highlight the line representing the bid you need to respond to

7. All the tabs will now open up, except for the SUBMIT REQUEST tab

8. Click on the TERMS and CONDITIONS tab, and press on the ACCEPT button

It will also show the date of acceptance at the bottom of the screen

9. Go to the BUYER DOCUMENTS tab

Click on VIEW – the document download will start

10. To note, should the download not start, click on the icon to accept the request to

download of a document to your pc (next time it will start automatically)

11. Go to the QUESTIONNAIRES tab

Click on the QUESTIONNAIRE header

12. The QUESTIONNAIRE RESPONSES will open up, select the required answer from

the available options and press SAVE

13. Go to the RESPONSES tab

The fields are open to enter content, on completion, click SUBMIT

14. Alternative option – Export the response fields to Excel

Click on the EXPORT function, and save to disk

15. To open the Excel, locate it on your hard disk, double click, and supply your

password (same as per point 3)

16. To activate, click on ENABLE CONTENT

17. Click on PREPARE DOCUMENT to activate the tabs

18. Select the Excel tab for BID DETAIL

19. The responses can now be entered in the available fields which are not greyed out,

i.e. RESPONSE PRICE – On completion the Excel sheet can be SAVED and

CLOSED

20. To upload the Excel document, be sure to go to the RESPONSES tab, and select the

IMPORT function

21. Select the saved Excel spreadsheet, and click OPEN

22. While on the RESPONSES tab, select the QUESTIONNAIRES button in order to

complete any line level questionnaires

23. The questions pertinent to the lines will open up. Enter the required information, and

when complete, click on SUBMIT RESPONSE to save the answers

24. Go to the SUBMIT DOCUMENTS tab

Click on the UPLOAD DOCUMENTATION button to upload your own documents

25. Select the UPLOAD button

The browse function will become available and you will be able to browse and select

the document to upload

26. Go to the SUBMIT REQUEST tab.

The response will now be submitted by clicking on the SUBMIT REQUEST button
