    3. Plan and prepare theevidence gathering process

    o establish a plan for gatheringevidence about the candidates

    performance in order to makethe assessment decision

    o organize equipment or

    resources required to supportthe evidence gathering process

    o obtain and/or prepare the

    evidence gathering tools.

    4. Collect the evidence & make theassessment decision

    o Implement the evidence gathering processand ensure its validity, reliability, fairnessand flexibility

    o collect appropriate evidence and matchcompatibility to the elements, performancecriteria, range of variables and Evidence Guidein the relevant units of competency

    5. Provide feedback on the

    assessment

    The assessor must provideadvice to the candidateabout the outcomes of theassessment process. Thisincludes providing the

    candidate with:o clear and constructivefeedback on the

    assessment decision

    gaps in competence revealed by the assessment

    6. Record and Report

    the result
