Dear Remodelers Council:On behalf of our Eastridge students, I would like to thank you for the donated hats and gloves. These items brought many smiles as students realized they would have warm hands and heads!Thank you!Deb Dabbert
The February Home and Garden Show was another great success! The Remodelers Council was able to collect 4,689 pounds of food this year for the Food Bank of Lincoln. 2012 marked the 10th year of the Remodelers Council Food Bank House. In total we have donated 50,585 pounds of food. Thank you to everyone who volunteered time to setup, represent at the Food Bank House and then tear down. It’s a lot of work but worth it all to bring food to families in need. It was exciting to see the number of consumers who attended the Home Show and who were very interested in starting remodeling projects. It can give everyone hope for a busy and profitable spring and summer!Thank you to everyone who attended the After Hours social event at the Ferguson showroom. The Ferguson team enjoyed hosting and networking with guests. The next meeting will be March 7 held at Granite Transformations located at 70th & Pioneers. Granite Transformations recently opened a new showroom and they are excited for everyone to tour and learn about the products and services they offer. Plan to attend the April 4 meeting where we will have an attorney from The Hoppe Law Firm answer questions about the EPA Lead Paint Rule. Please send your questions in advance to [email protected] to CS Kitchen & Bath Studio for winning the “Best Basement” project. Please be sure to submit your pictures to Kayla at [email protected] for the “Best Bathroom” by March 15!
