Tuesday 13:30 - 13:50 The Impact of Cyber Security on Terminal Solutions Richard Thompson

Anti-virus, application white-listing, firewalls, “next generation” firewalls — there are countless commercially available tools to protect against the growing and increasingly sophisticated “cyber threat.”

But how much is really necessary? And if I do need these tools, where — and how — do I deploy them in my network? This session will review the Honeywell secure network architecture for terminals and debate when, where and how to deploy cyber security controls to reinforce that architecture.

Join Richard while he speaks at the Speakers’ Corner and or see him in our Booth H8.

Honeywell integrated Terminal Automation Solutions offers a suite to manage your product movement through the tank farm, loading bays, watch plant safety via integration with fire and gas systems and camera surveillance. Introducing the industry’s first configurable workflows to monitor and control all critical processes from receipt to dispatch, Terminal Automation Solution suite sets a new standard in terminal integration improving efficiency. Incorporating more than six decades of experience providing solutions to terminal operators, Honeywell Enraf’s Terminal Manager is the web-based solution for managing the entire operation in bulk terminals.

Interfacing with enterprise resource planning (ERP), loading and unloading, workflow management, inventory management, product reconciliation and documentation systems it improves control of the entire process in real time.

The smart configurable workflows and a modular approach in the latest release of Terminal Manager significantly reduce the time needed to build the system by minimizing or eliminating the need for customization to specific operations.

It enables users to quickly set up the software to give a broad overview and in-depth control of key parameters such as product availability and movement, tank status, alarms, orders, shipments, shifts, loading bay availability, entries and exits.
