Main character There isn’t a specific character in the story, however i decided that the American’s are the main characters in this story because the story is about their language and there couldn’t exist a american language without americans.

Supporting characters

Setting of the story The book was written based on the author’s search to explain how and why the american language was created. It’s a tale that starts about 3 centurys ago and it only ends in the present days.

Plot This book talks about the english language, the miths related to it and all the interesting facts about the origins of america, including the arriving of the pilgrims at Plymouth Rock.

Main event(s) For me, the story is full of main events, however I’m going to distinguish some that I choosed, including the one mentione earlier (the Pilgrims), the invention of the air conditional and the origin of the american words that is talked about throughout the book.

Points of consideration/Message conveyed

This book taught me that every language has his origins and that we should retain our language because it is a memory of the people who founded and created our beloved language.

Why I liked it It was the first time I have ever read an english book and it was very entertaining and fun to read such a good, funny and educational book.

Why I did not like it There was some words I didn’t understand and the book was a bit big, but it was worth it.
