The analysis of the container to be labelled or packaged and the automatic process to be implemented together with the evaluation of the technical requirements of the materials to be used, are the functions that are carried out from the beginning of the project in a coordinated way between the R&D departments of Maca and Comag.This close collaboration allows the companies to quickly find new technical solutions, to move from the design phase to the engineering phase in the shortest possible time, up to the production of the system and to the on-line testing according to parameters of maximum efficiency and effectiveness, and all at the most competitive costs available on the market.The investments in research have allowed in the last year to develop a Multipacker System that can realize packs of 2, 4, 6, 8 or 10 containers by using elastic materials (stretch sleeves) with also the possibility of the integration of a handle application. This system allows the achievement of significant production advantages, first of all in terms of significant savings in the materials used, also in terms of compactness of the machine and reduction of space and energy savings given the absence of a shrinking tunnel that absorbs large quantities of energy. The companies have also set up showrooms in their facilities where they can invite customers and carry out demonstrations of the systems.

Esta estrecha colaboración permite a las empresas encontrar de manera oportuna nuevas soluciones técnicas, pasar de la fase de diseño a la fase de ingeniería en el menor tiempo posible, hasta la producción del sistema y la prueba del mismo en línea de acuerdo con los parámetros de máxima eficiencia y eficacia, todo ello a los costos más competitivos disponibles en el mercado.Las inversiones en investigación han dado lugar en el último año al desarrollo de un sistema de embalaje multipack a través del cual es posible realizar packs de 2, 4, 6, 8 o 10 contenedores mediante el uso de materiales elásticos (mangas elásticas), con posibilidad también de integración de la aplicación de agarradera. Este sistema permite obtener importantes ventajas de producción, ante todo en términos de ahorros significativos por lo que concierne los materiales utilizados, luego también en términos de compacidad de la máquina y de reducción de espacio envolvente, ahorro de energía dada la ausencia de túnel de retracción, que absorbe grandes cantidades de energía. Las empresas también han instalado unos showrooms en sus instalaciones en los que pueden recibir a sus clientes y llevar a cabo demostraciones de funcionamiento del sistema.
