Student GuideCommunity Portal
How to login:To log into the community portal:
Visit our website: www.sersd.org
Click on Students.
Click on Student Links.
Click on SchoolBrains icon.
How to login:
A new window will open.
Click Log in.
How to login:
Type in your user name.
Type in your password.
Click sign in.
*This information was e-mailed to you on the first day of school. If you do not have that information or forgot, please contact guidance for assistance.*
Tool Bar:The toolbar across the top will include the following:
Home – click this anytime to return to this screen.
Student Portal - this is where you can access all of your important information.
Welcome with your name – this is where you can change your password and log off.
Print Schedule:
Click on Student Portal.
Click Schedule.
Print Schedule:
Click on the appropriate semester.
Print Schedule:
A new window with your schedule will open.
From here you can view or print the schedule if you’d like.
View Attendance:Click Student Portal.
Click Attendance.
View Attendance:
From this screen you have access to your attendance totals.
In addition, calendars will show exactly which date(s) you were marked absent, tardy and dismissed.
View Current Assignments:To view all monthly assignments:
Click Student Portal.
Click Current Assignments.
From this screen you have access to:
Class name
Teacher
Assignment details
To view ALL assignments for the term, click on the class name.
View Report Card:When report cards are ready, you will receive an e-mail to check the community portal.
Click Student Portal.
Click Report Cards.
Click Download.
View Report Card:
A new window with yourreport card will open.
From here you can view and print your report card if you’d like.
E-mail a Teacher:Click Student Portal.
Click Classes.
E-mail a Teacher:Click on your Teacher’s name.
Log off:
Click on your name.
Click Log off.
