DO ‘s DON’Ts

Do tune in at the beginning for main idea.

Do not give in to distractions. Recognize them and redirect yourself back to lecture.

Try to picture what the speaker is saying. Do not write full sentences.

Be an active listener, ask questions, make connections (out loud or in your notes).

Do not sit in the back, slump, try to do something else at same time.

Write down a question instead of leaving your hand up forever and not listening.

 

Use many colored pens to accent or organize as you write notes. Always use same colors.
