Section B – Macroeconomics (Theme 2) A 5, 8 and 12 mark question based on a case study/data. 5 mark is a calculate questions, 8 mark is an examine question and the 12 mark is

Paper 1: Reading and translation • Reading and responding to a variety of texts written for different purposes, drawn from a range of authentic sources and adapted as necessary. Material will include complex factual and abstract content and questions will target main points, gist and detail. Questions in Spanish to be answered with non-verbal responses or in French (45 marks). Content will be taken from all topics studied in Year 12. • Translation into English (10 marks) Paper 2: Writing • One essay on film studied. All questions will require a critical response to aspects such as plot, characterisation, imagery or other stylistic features as appropriate to the work studied. (Approximately 250 words)
Translation into French – 5 sentences drawing on content in the stimulus text provided (15 marks).
Paper 1: Reading and translation • Aspects of French-speaking society – current trends; • Artistic culture in the French-speaking world Paper 2: Writing Film analysis: Au Revoir les Enfants • One essay from a choice of two

Course content and exam questions: Students have paper copies of all of the Year 12 content in addition to their passwords for Kerboodle; Kerboodle has all listening materials and the transcripts for the Assessment sections covering the 6 year topics for year 12. Film Study: students have individual copies of the film, Study Guide and a book of the film script, in addition to paper copies of other resources. They also have a set of questions to guide their analysis.

Politics 2 hours 1X Exam Three 9 mark explain questions. Pupils will have to give an introduction followed by three examples. One source based question. Pupils will need to analyse and show understanding of the extract. Must also consider provenance. One essay question. Students must look at both sides of the debate, provide precise supporting evidence and fully explain.
