The Film

Sugar Mountain is a new wave ski adventure film by award winning director Richard James.

The film chronicles the story of eight friends. Together they leave their urban latte-lives to exist - alone and unassisted - on a remote glacier in Alaska, searching for Sugar Mountain. It is an inspiring story of discovery - a tale of ordinary people doing extraordinary things.    Set in the wilds of the Chugach Range, Sugar Mountain brings a unique outlook to the adventure documentary genre. It interweaves cosmic animation alongside bleeding edge drone technology, to capture a breathtaking story of nature and mateship.
