Did you know that Parks and Recreation offers summer pro-gramming in both Jensen Beach and Hobe Sound? For children ages 5 (completed kin-dergarten) through 12 years old a full day camp is available from 7:30am - 5:30pm, Monday through Friday. The cost is only $75 a week per child and in-cludes field trips! Wait, did you read that correctly? Yes! IN-CLUDES FIELD TRIPS! We know that your children are your number one concern. They are ours as well and we make

To qualify for after school care, interested parents must complete an application which includes information on financial need for services. Applications may be obtained from the after school site of interest.

Summer Camp programs are a positive part of a child’s life experience. They provide an opportunity to meet new friends, experience new things, have fun adventures and create lasting memories. Camps are facilitated in safe en-vironments, by trained and caring staff who strive to provide a positive atmosphere to ensure positive experiences.
Our two full-service summer camps offer an indoor/outdoor menu of recreational and educational activities including field trips, arts & crafts, wacky water days and much more! Programming will start on June 9, 2014 and will end on August 8, 2014. Hours are from 7:30am to 5:30pm. Camps open to children ages 5 (completed kindergarten) to 12
years old.

On behalf of Martin County Parks & Recreation Department, thank you for your interest in our volunteer program. Our mission is to provide clean, safe and well maintained leisure facilities and programs to the citizens of Martin County based on the comprehensive plan and citizens’ expectations. If you are looking for a way to make a difference, meet new people or expand a hobby, there are many different ways you can participate that would match your areas of interest.
We are actively seeking volunteers to assist us in a variety of ways with special events and activities such as the Senior Games, Special Olympics, kids triathlon, fall festivals, park and beach clean-ups and much more.
We welcome adults, seniors, non-profit organizations and agencies and students who are looking for service project hours for high school or college credits to join our team.
Just remember, volunteers are the true partners in parks and we cannot be successful without you. Thank you in advance for helping us increase the quality and effectiveness of our parks system. We look forward to seeing our progress as we move this program forward to serve future generations.

Indian RiverSide Park (IRSP) is the premier family destina-tion park in Martin County. Located in beautiful Jensen Beach, IRSP sits beach side on the Indian River Lagoon, with a ¾ mile paved walking path, 780-foot fishing pier with boat slips, ample park-ing, interactive play fountain, beach and wedding ceremo-ny locations plus reception/banquet space.
