Pono is a democratic outdoor center. Regular staff are available during the whole summer. Visiting teachers come twice every week from fields as diverse as carpentry, fashion, biology, chemistry, dance, history, and a variety of sports.
Ages 5 to 10 years 9 am–2 pm; Monday–Thursday Accessible by subway: 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 trains. $695 for one week; $1,850 for three weeks; $3,710 for six weeks; $5,560 for nine weeks.
