Tips & Tricks to API Integration
Know your endpoint.Establish a relationship with the vendor you’re integrating with be it big or
small. Know what you’re looking to achieve is pivotal to receiving their support.
Establish standard custom fields.For data to get transferred, you need data. Recruiters should know what
custom fields are available and should be comfortable using them.
Collaborate with development partners.We don’t know your business process. Educate us!
Leverage the automation that’s already there.Jobvite APIs do a lot of the work for you. Make sure you’re appropriately
informed on what’s available to you.
Ask questions – it never hurts!Some things are easier to update than you think. Ask and you may receive!
