to oversee Nursery through 5th grade Children’s

Administrative Assistant—A full time (40hour) position is open at First Church.

Job will require organizing volunteers, greeting the public, computer skills, and

Walk His Way Dinner—Have you graduated from college and found yourself

searching for other young adult Christians? Join First Church’s young adult group,

―Walk His Way‖, for a dinner celebration to start our next small group study.

Monday, April 25th, 6-9pm. Contact Brooke Bell @ 954-732-1045 for info.

Camp Sunshine at FUMC Preschool—The camps run in two week sessions, four

days a week. The sessions are: June 21- July 1, July 5- July 15, and July 19- July 29.

Each session runs 9am to 1pm and is open to children ages 3 through 6 (entering

First Grade). Call the Preschool at 954-752-0336 for more details. It’s the cool

place to be this summer!

May 1st we will welcome our new Youth Director, Brian

Ward. We are very excited to have him, his wife Carrie,

and his two daughters join our First Church family.

Daytona Mission Trip—two openings are available. July

24th-29th Call Liz at 954-757-7212.

Youth Garage Sale/Car Wash—Saturday, May 7th, 9am-1pm. Funds raised will

support the summer mission trips. Donations for the garage sale will be accepted

from 12 noon till 8pm on Friday, May 6th at the back door of the Choir Room. Call

Liz at 954-757-7212 for info.

Mission Trip Opportunity with United Methodist

Volunteers in Mission—May 27 – June 4th, $1600. The

team will provide medical, vision and veterinary medical

care. If you are interested, contact Cindy Richards, 205-

939-6794 or [email protected]

Cooperative Feeding Program—Saturday, May 7th, 8:30-11am. It’s our month to

man the kitchen. Volunteers are needed. Contact Cynthia Bloom at

[email protected] or 954-340-9657 for more information. Join in on a fun

morning of helping others.

Dine with Jesus-Serving the homeless in Ft. Lauderdale—We need men’s shoes,

reading glasses, bug spray, and wet wipes. Bring items to the mission table on

Sunday mornings.

Mission Projects and Mission trips—We want to get 100% of the congregation

involved in one project over the next year. If you have an idea or know of a great
