will NOT be accepted under any circumstances. Direct deposit payment is available.
Penning: Exhibits must be penned by 8:55 am on the morning of the Show. Birds not penned by this time will not be permitted into the pavilion. Penning is available on Saturday 2ND AUGUST between 7:30am & 9:00am and from 4:00pm until 6:00pm.
Show rules: This show is conducted under the rules of the EPA of NSW.
SPECIAL CONDITIONS1. Classification of Rare Breeds is made at the discretion of the Canberra/Queanbeyan
Poultry Club (based on the breeds shown locally over previous years) and may not reflect classifications made by bodies or organisations. Submission of an entry in this competition is deemed an acceptance of this rule. Protests or complaints regarding the classification of Rare Breeds based on classifications made by any other body or organisation will not be accepted.
2. Breeds that are deemed “Rare” for the purposes of this show are marked in bold italics.3. Birds in non-rare classes are not eligible for special awards set aside for Rare Breeds.4. AOC and AC classes are for recognised colours only for which a colour description exists in
the Australian Poultry Standard or the Standard from the country of origin for the particular breed.
5. Junior exhibitors must prepare and pen their entries. Juniors will compete in General Classes. Juniors must be under 12 years old on the day of the Show. All junior exhibitors shall receive an Encouragement Award.

SPECIAL RULES: Entering birds in a Work in Progress (WIP) class for Brahma or CochinThe WIP class accommodates colours and strains still in development. Any colour variety, including colours not in the Australian Standard of Perfection, can be entered if the breeder considers the bird entered to be a ‘work in progress’. As such, the colour, type or breed characteristics aren’t correct for the Australian Standards. Birds entered in WIP are eligible to win the Best WIP Cochin or Brahma, Breeder of the Year, Lance Hicks Memorial Award and Champion Junior. WIP entries are not eligible to win the Champion or Reserve Champion Brahma or Cochin of show or the Don Jones and Andrew Rathbone awards.
