He had been studying the pure gospel of salvation in Jesus Christ with brothers Julius Udan, Sixto Aoas, Boni Marcelo, and Dodoy Sameon.Ω As a result of the young people’s recent general assembly, care teams were formed to replace the defunct sub-ministries (Socialights, Art Aficionados, Sports Enthusiasts, and Music Lovers). This arrangement is experimental and will hold true until brother Jesse Bestre returns on June, 2017, says the young people represented in last Tuesday’s church forum. The goal of each team is to meet at least once a month for an hour or two for lunch or snacks, fellowship, devotionals, and other bonding activities such that team members are taken cared for, encouraged, and edified. Groupings were initially formed and those whose names do not appear below are encouraged to freely choose the team they want to join. Kindly find the list on the YPeez Bulletin Board and include your name. Initial groupings for the care teams are as follows: TEAM CHIKI—Demi, Kate, Alec, Jasper, Kaesha, Charis, Sheema, Kyle; TEAM NORTH POLE—Grace, Ange, Louise, Ira, Kemuel, Mervin, Katz, Kiara; TEAM-RRIFIC—Denise, Mau, Ezra, Kajem, Kaelin, Zyneth, Dexter, Paulo; GROUP O—Rachel, Mahay, Donnel, Yuan, Kinsha, A-mark, Rico; TEAM UGHO’neil, Jhoey, Amber, Klarissa, Abi, Kyla, Abe; TEAM LYCHEE—Aldian, Kana, Angela, Sean, Melchi, Rod, Aaron, Thea; TEAM OMJJ—Kesha, JJ, Janriel, Jizza, JT, Chris, Ariadne, Cristy.Ω Contrary to what has been previously announced, the BAGUIO CHURCH OF CHRIST (BCOC) meeting at 18 Rimando Road, this city, will be hosting this year’s BAGUIO- BENGUET CHRISTIAN LADIES FELLOWSHIP (BBCLF) on November 30th instead of Midtown. Reportedly, BCOC would want to take their turn of hosting the BBCLF this year as they will be hosting next year’s PANAGKAKADUA. Thus, Midtown’s turn to host the BBCLF will be next year, 2018.Ω Arnan Bayla Andy Bestre Jojo Ramos Julius Rojo Galatians 3:26-29 Janriel Abance Richard Bestre Dante Baddas O’neil Gonzales Mar Bayating Andy Bestre Arnan Bayla Andy Bestre Volunteers Needed Diwata Bayeta Diwata Bayeta Kitma Family Sarah Sameon R.Tada | L.Glori | A. SALVATION BY GRACE THROUGH FAITH

    SANTIAGO B. SAMEON II: B.Th; Ed.D

    INTRODUCTION:

A Caribbean sailship captain complainingly cursed due to the sudden, prolonged disappearance of the sun at

midday, that forced them to stop their cruise! A few hours thereafter, the sun was in full blast again! Later they

learned that many ships had been boarded and robbed by pirates of Tortuga, prior the disappearance of the sun. The

grumbling Captain had been spared from piracy due to extreme darkness, which was a seeming disgrace to the

voyagers, but in reality a saving grace by the disappearing sun!

#1 MADE ALIVE FROM TRESPASSES AND SINS THOUGH GRACE

    1. Raised alive - “And you He made alive,…” Eph.2:1

    2. From dead infractions - “who were dead in trespasses and ins,” Eph.2:1

    3. From former lifestyles - “in which you once walked…” Eph.2:2

    4. In stride with the world - “according to the course of this world,…” Eph.2:2

    5. Alligned with - “according to the prince of the power of the air,…” Eph.2:2

#2 WORKS OF THE SPIRIT OF DISOBEDIENCE IS CONTRARY TO GRACE

    1. Our former lifestyle - “among whom also we all once conducted ourselves…” Eph.2:3

2.Worldly lusts - “in the lust of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh,..” Eph.2:3

    3. Sinful thoughts - “and of the mind, and were by nature…” Eph.2:3

    4. Children of rage - “children of wrath, just as the others.” Eph.2:3

#3 GOD’S GREAT LOVE SAVED, RAISED US UP AND EXALTED US BY HIS GRACE

    1. God’s sympathy and pity - “But God, who in such mercy,…” Eph.2:4

    2. God’s enormous love - “because of His great love with which He loved us,…” Eph.2:4

    3. While we were sinners -“even when we were we were dead in trespasses,…” Eph.2:5

    4. Raised us up with Jesus - “made us alive together with Christ Jesus,…” Eph.2:5

    5. Saved good pleasure - “(by grace you had been saved),…” Eph.2:5

    6. Resurrected and exalted us - “and raised us up together, and made us sit together…” Eph.2:6

    7. In heavenly dwelling - “in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus.” Eph.2:6

#4 GOD’ SURPASSING GREAT SHOW IN AGES TO COME BY GRACE

    5. Not earned by us - “and not of yourselves; it is the gift of God,…” Eph.2:8

    6. Not of our deeds - “not of works, lest anyone should boast.” Eph.2:9

    2. Made in Christ for good deeds - “Created in Christ Jesus for good works,…” Eph.2:10

    3. God planned earlier - “which God prepared beforehand…” Eph.2:10

    4. That we live in them - “that we should walk in them.” Eph.2:10

    CONCLUSION:

Brethren in our study we learned that we are MADE ALIVE FROM TRESPASSES AND SINS THROUGH GRACE, do we

believe this? We also gleaned that the WORKS OF THE SPIRIT OF DISOBEDIENCE IS CONTRARY TO GRACE, do we affirm

this? Further on, we are made aware that GOD’S GREAT LOVE SAVED, RAISED US UP AND EXALTED US BY HIS GRACE, do

we uphold this? Still further on, we are cognizant of GOD’S SURPASSING GREAT SHOW IN AGES TO COME BY GRACE, are

we amenable to this? Finally, we learned that we are GOD’S MASTER WORKMANSHIP CREATED FOR GOOD WORKS. Amen?

Brethren, with all my heart, thank you so much!
