Mothers’ Circle: Moms meeting for prayer, friendship, Bible study and more The group meets Wednesdays @ 9:30 am in the Spirit Center. All moms with children up to age 4 are welcome.

The St. Thomas More Women's Club Wishes All a Happy & Healthy New Year!

Join us on Thursday, Jan. 7th for our first meeting of 2016. We will gather at 6:30 pm for snacks and social time. It will be a great time to greet old friends and make new ones. Our speaker for the evening will be Lucy Beebe Tobias, who will tell us about 50 great walks in Florida. She will get us off on the right foot for the new year!

It’s never too late to become a member! You can join and pay the $20 dues at this meeting. We look forward to seeing you there.

Knights of Columbus at the Veteran’s Day Mass at Sarasota National Cemetery

The annual Veteran’s Day Mass was held at Sarasota National Cemetery on November 11th. Deputy Grand Knight Johnnie Turner, along with his wife, Monique was selected to present the gifts at the Mass. Johnnie was a Sergeant Major in the U.S. Army, having served in Vietnam and culminating his career at the Pentagon in Washington D.C. Deacon Bob Gaitens, also a Knight at St. Thomas More, assisted Bishop Frank Dewane in presiding at the Mass.
