Daylight Savings Time

Daylight Saving Time (DST) is the practice of setting the clocks forward one hour from standard time during the summer months, and back again in the fall, in order to make better use of natural daylight.

Harlem Wizards

The Harlem Wizards are a professional basketball team created in 1962 by sports promoter Howie Davis. Unlike most basketball teams, the Harlem Wizards are not primarily focused on winning games. Instead, their aim is to entertain the crowd using a variety of basketball tricks and alley oops.

Couch Middle School PTA will be hosting the Harlem Wizards at Grayson High School on Monday March 9th at 7:00pm.

After School Program

Breakaway Academy is excited to offer our after school soccer program at Trip Elementary! Our after school programs provide a fun, safe, and inclusive environment in which all students get active and learn social, physical, and life skills that are valuable beyond sports. Trip Elementary will host us every Tuesday, after school from 3:00-4:00pm starting April 7 and ending May 12. Participants will engage in soccer activities during the sessions with coaches licensed in grassroots soccer. Breakaway Academy looks forward to having you join us for a fun Spring Season at Trip Elementary!

DLI Meeting

WHAT: Rising Kindergarten Meeting for those interested in the French Dual Language Immersion (DLI) Kindergarten classes for 2020-2021 school year at Trip ES. WHEN: March 10, 2020 TIME: 6:00 PM - 7:30 PM

TOPIC: Dr. Vedder and Mrs. Phillips will be here to share with you information on how to register your student(s) for Kindergarten DLI. This session will include details on the lottery process and the steps that MUST be completed prior to the county application deadline.

This meeting is solely for parents who have students entering Kindergarten in the 2020-2021

school year and want their child(ren) to be in a DLI classroom.
