Sunday Mornings

Nursery is available for babies—3 years old. Also Children 3 years old through 5th grade will be dismissed to

Children’s Church during the service for a time of worship and bible lessons to help them learn more about God.

Communion

Communion is celebrated the 1st Sunday of every month. If you are unable to attend worship due to illness or

hospitalization and wish to have communion brought to you, please contact the church office at 824.5926.

Giving: The offering is for those who consider The Journey their home church and it is through your tithing and donations

that we can continue to minister to our community and proclaim God's great message to others. The Journey offers

two ways to make a gift on Sundays and during the week. You can either give when the offering is passed during

celebration services or contact your financial institution for paperless giving.

For Youth and Children:

The Nursery will be available during the Sunday School time for babies—4 years old. *

Classes will be available during the Sunday School for children 5—7th grade.*

Adult Sunday School: Game Plan for the Believer Led by Lance Scranton

A study in the New Testament and how it should inform our worldview from a

biblically-based perspective.

Young Married & Families *

Led by Chris & MaryAnn Keiss

A new Sunday School class will be starting this spring that will address topics

such as marriage and raising children. The class will start off by studying “Sacred

Parenting”. Join us for a time of fellowship and growth.

Connecting to Others: CO2 Led by Melinda Hall

This class is for those ages 18-25. The hope is that this class is a bridge from High

School to adult life, giving them a place to belong as they discover God’s plan for

the next phase of their lives—whether that be college or work. The bible study will

be a life application study.

High School Sunday School Led by Janna Thompson

Come and learn more about the book of Daniel in a fun and engaging setting.

This class is for students in 8th grade - 12th grade.

Spring Growth Groups

During the week

One of our primary goals is to get folks involved in groups outside of Sunday morning that lend more to in depth

study and fellowship. Please consider connecting with our body in some of these other opportunities.

The Legacy Journey

Tuesdays at 6 pm & Meets at their Home. Begins February 9th

This 7 week class by Dave Ramsey will lead you deeper into investing, basic estate

planning, purposeful living, safeguarding your legacy and discovering the keys to

generational wealth and true generosity. Cost is $100. Led by Gary & Mary Tague

Financial Peace University

Tuesdays at 6 pm & Meets at The Journey Begins February 16th

We all need a plan for our money. Join us as we go through Dave Ramsey’s study

and learn how to get rid of debt, manage our money, spend and save wisely,

and more! Cost is $100.

Led by Doug & Christie Winters

Extreme Environmentalism and Scripture

Wednesdays at 7 pm & Meets at the Winey’s Begins February 16th A study on extreme environmentalism and its effect on our world including the body of

Christ . This is a 10 week class. Led by Matt Winey

Fundamentals

Thursdays at 6:30 pm & Meets at The Journey Begins February 11th

13 Lessons to Grow in the Grace and Knowledge of Jesus Christ with topics

ranging from the character of God to church participation. It’s an ideal study for

new believers or for seasoned believers desiring to return to the basics of what it

means to be a disciple of Jesus Christ. The Elders encourage every Journey

member and attender to go through this course. Led by Len Browning

Spiritual Secrets to Weight Loss

Mondays at 6:30—8pm & Meeting location TBA Begins Feb 1st

The root problem behind weight gain is often not physical hunger, but spiritual

hunger. This is a book study that will focus on filling ourselves up with God

instead of food. Open to men and women. Led by Lindsey Billig

We will kick off the new semester with a Super Bowl Party and fellowship!

Journey Men: The Great Adventure (Open Group)

Tuesdays at 5:30 a.m. & Meets at The Journey Begins January 12th. Life should be an adventure, but too often it seems tiring, even boring. This study helps men

break free from the bondage of boredom and rediscover the exciting purpose that God has for

them. Led by Mike Fraher

Journey Women’s Bible Study (Open Group)

Tuesdays at 9 a.m. & Meets at The Journey Begins January 12th Ladies Bible Study is a disciple and fellowship opportunity for women of the Journey to

grow in community together; engaging and embracing one another,

while being continually equipped in the faith.

O.W.L.S. (Older Wiser Loving Saints - Open Group)

Celebrate Recovery (Open Group)

Fridays at 7 pm & Meets at The Journey Meets Year Round Celebrate Recovery helps apply Christ-centered healing in dealing with a variety of hurts,

habits, and hang-ups. If you struggle with emotional baggage, co-dependency, grief, loss of

job, depression, lust, anger, pornography, addictions of any kind, abuse, or other hang-ups,

this group will be able to help you in your recovery process.

Prophecy 101 (Open Group)

Fridays at 6 am & Meets at The Journey Ongoing

Study God’s Prophetic Word concerning the last days & the return of the King Jesus, and

examine world events using the lens of Biblical prophecy. Led by Claudia Peters

Awana is a program designed to bring children to Christ and build a biblical foundation for

faith! At the Journey, our leaders strive to uphold the principles of the Awana program, teach

God's Word, and share the wonder of God's love with children!

3 year olds* - 6th grade Wednesday at 6:15 pm

7th grade – 12th grade Wednesday at 5:15 pm

*Potty trained pre-schoolers only

Membership & Baptism: If you are interested in becoming a member of The Journey or becoming

baptized, please mark it on your communication card, stop by the welcome desk or contact the office. There are

opportunities through the year to take the new member class and to be baptized. More information about both is

Bear River Young Life thinks the world of kids. They believe that kids deserve to

know what life can hold for them and what God has done for them. From club to

camp to Campaigners and other activities, teenagers will have a blast laughing,

trying new things and being with their friends. YL club (for High School) in

Craig is on Monday nights at 8:03 p.m., Wyldlife (for middle school) is Tuesday

nights at 7:01 p.m. Both are at the Depot at 476 Russell St.
