The reason we enter church, dip our finger in holy water and make the sign of the cross prepares us in prayer? The sign of the cross and the Holy water reminds us that we are God's family through our baptism, and that God our Father,

Jesus the Son, and the Holy Spirit are alive in our hearts. As we walk in to church and find a place to sit we genuflect. We bend our right knee to the floor to show God that we recognize Jesus in the tabernacle. And oh by the way, if we are not able to bring our knee to the floor, a bow also shows reverence.

La Campaña de Caridades y Desarrollo del Arzobispo (ABCD), nuestra petición anual diocesana, nos brinda la oportunidad de unirnos como una comunidad de fe para servir a las necesidades educativas, físicas y espirituales de nuestra comunidad católica aquí en el sur de la Florida. Guiados por el Espíritu Santo, nos unimos para avanzar en nuestra misión de amar y servir, como lo hizo Jesús, a través de actos de caridad y compasión para ayudar a los necesitados. Our School is accepting applications for the next academic year. Thanks to income-based scholar-ships, every parent can afford a Catholic educa-tion for his children. The School Open House will be on Wednesday January 31st at 8:30 am. Nuestra escuela está aceptando aplicaciones para el próximo año académico. Gracias a becas basa-das en los ingresos familiares, todos los padres pueden ahora brindarles una educación católica a sus hijos. El Open House será el miércoles 31 de enero a las 8:30 am.

All boys and girls ages 9 to 14 are invited to participate in the local level of competition of the 2018 Knights of Columbus Free Throw Championship. The local com-petition will be held on January 21st at Noon at Blessed Trinity Catholic Church in front of the church, in conjunction with the Pig Roast Competition. The Knights of Columbus Free Throw Championship is sponsored annually, with winners progressing through local, district, and state competitions.
