Quilt Center AssemblyRefer to quilt photo for placement of blocks. Lay out blocks in 2 rows of 2 blocks. Sew rows together to complete the center of the quilt.

BordersSeam allowances vary so measure through the center of the quilt before cutting border pieces. Sew side borders first.

Border 1Side borders should be 36½”. Top and bottom borders should be 40½”.

Border2Side borders should be 40½”. Top and bottom borders should be 46½”.

Border 3Side borders should be 46½”. Top and bottom borders should be 58½”.

Finish quilt by layering the quilt top, batting, and back. Bind with your favorite Riley Blake fabric from the Hello Sunshine Collection. Have fun with your colors and enjoy the journey of making your quilt.

CUTTING REQUIREMENTSPlease read instructions first before cutting. Seam allowances vary so measure through the center of the quilt before cutting border pieces.

Sunshine BlockCut 4 squares 18½” x 18½” from snow white shadeCut 16 sunshine blades from the template, including seam allowance, from each of the following assorted prints: pink petals, red birds, blue daisy, multi dot, red dotCut 4 center circles from yellow plaid. Add ¼” seam allowance if necessary for your favorite method of appliqué.

Border 1Cut 4 strips 2½” x WOF from multi stripe

Border 2Cut 5 strips 3½” x WOF from white petals

Border 3Cut 6 strips 6½” x WOF from red main

QUILT ASSEMBLYRefer to quilt photo for placement of blocks.

Sunshine BlockRefer to quilt photo for placement of sunshine blades. Sew the sides of the blades together to create the sunshine. Lay right side of sunshine on top of interfacing. Stitch ¼” around the outside edge, pivoting at the seams and points. Trim seam allowance and turn right side out. Smooth out the edges and press. Center sunshine on a snow white shade 18½” square and appliqué the sunshine and center circle using your favorite method. Repeat to make 4 Sunshine Blocks.
