With a gift to the NCC Excellence Fund, you are a National Commodore Club member and receive NCC priority credit. However, a separate gift to the NCC annual fund is necessary for priority seating and parking benefits.

If I make a gift to the NCC Excellence Fund for Soccer, will I be recognized as a National Commodore Club member? Yes. All donors to any area of Vanderbilt Athletics are recognized as NCC members.

Will my gift to the NCC Excellence Fund for Soccer apply toward my National Commodore Club benefits? No. You will receive NCC priority points, but you must make a separate gift to the NCC annual fund for priority seating and parking benefits.

Through the Excellence Fund, Vanderbilt Soccer supporters made a significant impact during the 2015 season. They helped provide branding and graphics for soccer facilities, a golf cart to aid in program logistics and an upgraded playing surface for competition.

This year, you can help fund GPS-tracked heart rate monitors for the team. This technology will help coaches track stamina and trends for individual players, while keeping safety in mind. We also plan to upgrade soccer facilities and equipment.

With your support, we can continue to provide the best for our student-athletes.

Our student-athletes spend countless hours studying, practicing and competing in order to excel, both academically and athletically. Last academic year, the team posted a 3.327 cumulative GPA and two student-athletes earned a perfect 4.0. Their trip to the 2015 SEC Tournament marked the team’s most successful season in 11 years. Head coach Darren Ambrose expects great things from the Commodores this season. Our student-athletes are committed to success—now they just need you!
