Title: Group Asia (A Max Life Insurance’s project)Project Description: MLI in itself is a good name in Insurance domain. Client use Group Asia application to keep records of policies and insured. Position: Business System AnalystDomain: InsuranceResponsibilities:

Analyzing BRD’s (Business Requirement Documents). Understanding business and technical requirement of the application. Identification of the test or feasibility Analysis for Tests. Understand the Applications & Identify the different Business Flows and Writing FSDs

(Functionality Specific Documents). Writing and executing test cases for manual testing and bug tracking using SEVA and CARS. Interaction with development team.

Group Asia Releases:MLI had deployed Group Asia as the group policy administration system in April 2012. With the growing needs of the business, new enhancements were required in the system.

Group Asia Project For Loan Products:Group Asia has been introduced as a group policy admin system in New Business Process. All Axis bank cases for loan Products will be routed to Group Asia line. New fields Axis Bank policy Id, customer Id and application Id are getting introduced at Policy Inquiry Screen. All these enhancement in system done under Group Asia- Loan Product Project.

Surrender process: New requirement from Business that the Surrender of policies in Fund products should be allowed and system should calculate their correct Surrender Value which should be disbursed in Group Asia System and paid to the customer.

Admin Charges:In current system admin charges for Investment Plans for unit linked product are not deducted. The requirement here is to deduct these charges for Customer Initiated Admin Charges in Group Asia.

Term Plan:There are also term plan for employer Employee Company. As if any employee has basic salary for less than 5000 then MLI offers his/her a term plan called EDII (Employee deposit Plan).

Reinsurance Plan:MLI offers reinsurance through group Asia system where the retention limit is 1000000 of amount. The sum ceded and reinsurance is calculated above the retention limit in Group Asia System.

Gratuity Plans:MLI introduced Gratuity Plan for complete service of 48 month and 240 days on unit linked Plan. The benefit will be given to the customer as per IRDA guidelines.

Project TwoTitle - My Money Integration In GA- System

Project Description: MMMA is an application which MLI used to keep track on all the money related information of a policy as well managing agents by performing various operations like Creation, agent suspension, agent movement, agent bonus management etc.Position: Business System Analyst.Domain: Insurance.Responsibilities:

Analyzing BSD’s and Writing FSDs. Execution of functional test cases from Use Cases & Requirements. Defect logging using Defect Tracking tool and Bug tracking using SEVA. Identification of the test or feasibility Analysis for Tests, which require to be automated.

GA-System: Objective of this functional is to collect the entries on policy level as in GA collection has been done on different levels such as application, member, and client and company level. When the user does not follow the proper process. This will increase the accuracy to track the faults done by the user.

Termination For Suspended Agents : The objective of this requirement is to introduce a check in the system so that the commission cannot be disbursed to the auto suspended agents due to missing PAN no. and Bank details. If an agent updated the PAN no. and Bank details before 50 days of suspension the due commission should get Disbursed to the agents.

Project ThreeTitle: Group Claims Management System

Project Description: Group Claim is an application in Group Asia System, which MLI used to keep track on all the claim

related information of a client as the termination claim, death claim etc.Position: Test Engineer.Domain: Insurance.Responsibilities:

Analyzing BSD’s and Writing FSDs. Understating the requirement and making the test plans and Executing Test cases. Bug tracking using SEVA and ehelpline.

Project FourProject Name : Investment ProcessClient : Max Life InsuranceEnvironment : Group Asia System AS400.Current Designation : Business System Analyst.

Project Details: Investment Process is also an insurance policy fund processor. This application is used only for NAV (Net Asset Value) and calculating the fund value on the basis of NAV and the units. After the issuance policy data is transferred to admin application. The NAV is uploaded n Group Asia System and after that it is approved manually then through batches units and fund value are calculated. The Uploadation of NAV can be done manually.

Responsibilities: Understanding Functional and Business Requirement. Authoring and Executing Test cases including Functionality and Data Validation. Bug Reporting and Bug Analysis Writing FSDs and developing the requirements with the help of development team.
