Since its foundation in 1898 the fourth generation of the family now manage the Etz winery, a modern wine estate with a wealth of tradition. The two brothers Franz and Karl acquired their winemaking experience in Europe and overseas and are jointly responsible for the vinification and cultivation of some 40 hectares of their own vineyards.

The principal variety and corner stone of the winery is the Grüne Veltliner, a typical Kamptal wine, accounting for more than 60 percent of production.
