TELEPORTATION IS THIS A REALITY?

Many of you heard the word teleportation often in sci-fi movies like star trek or in the novels. Many of think this may

related to the word of communications well you are close to understand the word teleportation. Teleportation is

transferring of mass or energy from one point and another without any actual physical space involved between two

points. Teleporting the person or object is seems impossible, when we think of it or it may seem very futuristic. Of

course it is far future technology. We can teleport humans or object as the each atom is made of quanta. To understand

the teleportation we need understand some of basic quantum mechanics ideas, recent promising experiments results that

can lead to development of teleporting technology.

As I mentioned earlier every object is made of atoms which are made of many quant’s by identifying the state of every

quant of our cells we can reproduce in another place the same structure of the our body which has the same property of

the original. But this create a question of is the reproduced has exact? Because to teleport we need to destroy the original

at first point so it creates new one second place. The possible theory explained in quantum mechanics are the quantum

entanglement, spooky action at a distance. The pioneer of these theories are most known scientist Albert Einstein who

published the paper in 1935 as he thought that spooky action at a distance is not possible just the mathematics may gone

wrong but in later in 1967 a PhD student in astrophysics john clauser developed an experiment in which he measured

many quantum entanglement pair and compare in all the direction and the result were proved Einstein was right and his

math too, quantum entanglement means in which two particles identical to each other having attraction without any

17

matter of places or points. One measurement of the particle on place may affect the spin of another particle spin in the

space. This is also help developing of quantum computers which may use in complex calculations.

Recent development are in university of Netherland they are successful teleported the nitrogen atoms around 3 meters

without having any physical space, and also professor Anton Zeilenger of university of Vienna in the island Lapalma to

Tenerife with help of laser teleported dozens of photons which give the assurance of teleportation is not impossible but

may be very far future. We may or may not see but future of mankind may just beam up in the space as we see in the sci-

fi movies.
