History

• initiated pilot in Sept 2009 • ran v1.2 – pretty poor, lots and lots of bugs• in 2010 moved to trunk, better but lots of bugs • but very popular

– course evaluations– public surveys– data gathering (dietary requirements, home addresses)

Configuration

• no hierarchy, so no top-down evaluations• maintainers can create surveys & view results• show My Scales etc but NOT Question Banks• no default reminders• CSV, XLS, PDF export

Current Status

• in production as a Beta, – still has bugs mostly minor

– may be more bugs with different configurations

– a few unimplemented features– remove results– reused custom email templates

• 750 surveys have been commissioned• one of the most popular tools

Our New Features

All will be part of v1.4:• view results of open surveys• cannot ask non account holders to login• simplified setup of public surveys• all roles may take survey

• v1.3 is good but could be better• big improvements in the last 6 months• very popular with

• departments• colleges• administrators• researchers

• deployment at Oxford was a big success
