Advisory AgreementName: ___________________________________ Advisor Name: ____________________

I understand that LP High is a leadership and entrepreneurship charter high school that Iand/or my family have chosen as the best educational option for me at this time. In order tostay in good standing at LP High and earn advisory credits, I acknowledge and agree to the

following:1. I will attend school every day unless I am sick or have an appointment or family

emergency. I acknowledge that school starts at 8:40 a.m. and ends at 3:45 p.m. on

Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays and at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesdays and Fridays. I also

understand that off-campus lunch is a privilege and I will only qualify for it with 90%

attendance and five or fewer tardies from the month before. I also acknowledge that I

need 80% attendance to get a bus pass.

    2. ELO is a required class, unless I am passing all my classes. Since I have chosen toattend LP, I have chosen not to come up with any reason to leave school during 6th

Period ELO if I am not passing all my classes with at least 70%. If I am passing, I willeither leave the school or do work in my advisors classroom and not hang out in the

    hall.

    3. I understand that my teachers cannot give me a bathroom pass the first or last tenminutes of class or if there is something important happening that I should not miss.

If I have a bathroom pass, I will not use it to socialize, use my cell phone, or do my hair

or make up during class time.

    4. I will not let electronics interfere with my learning or that of other students. Thatmeans I will either leave electronics at home or keep them silent and out of sight

during class time. This includes headphones.

    5. I understand that LP High is a drug and alcohol-free school. I will not come toschool with drugs or alcohol, under the influence, or smelling like any illegal

    substances.

    6. I understand the school policy on appropriate clothing and will follow it.7. I will not steal from the school, staff, or other students and will keep myself safe from

theft by not leaving any item of value unattended.

    8. I will help protect the school property by keeping food and drink away fromcomputers, not chewing gum, not tagging or damaging property in any other way.

    9. I understand that use of profanity at school does not go along with a Leadership andEntrepreneurship school and I agree to not have a potty mouth at school.

10.I will do my best to pass my classes at LP High and understand that a diploma fromLP has more credits, but will also better prepare me for college and career.
