• What is Retention Management?
– Retention Management is a Synergy Administrative feature
used to perform report and document purge operations
automatically based on a specified retention interval.
– Retention Management is a mechanism to define how long
an item is kept (or retained). At the end of this period, the
item is deleted (or purged).
• Allows users to more efficiently and effectively manage the
life cycle of items within the Synergy repository.
• Ties into you Core to create automated retention processing

• Synergy Hitlist Views organize search hitlist data into
pre-defined groups called view tabs
– Tab contains one or more cabinets and type.
– View tabs can be displayed as individual tabs.
– Hitlist views allow individual unique views of the same
result sets to be customized depending on how the
end user would like to see the results.
