About me….Hello! My name is Pete, and I’m an engineer in the

process of a career change. I am earning my M.A.T.

with a concentration in physics.

About me….I earned a B.S in electrical engineering at

The University of Rhode Island in 2003.

After that, I worked for 2 defense contractors

before landing a job at the

Naval Undersea Warfare Center

in Newport, RI, where I worked on combat

systems for Virginia Class submarines.

About me….I’ve always loved physics and academics.

Now I’m looking to combine 2 of

my passions and turn it into a new career!

My hope is that I can turn some young

minds onto the wide world of physics.

My favorite branches of physics are

fiber optics and astronomy.

About me….

I’m married to my best friend. We’ve been

together for 24 years and married for 19.

We have 2 children, Jimmy (13) and Sierra (12)!

About me….

My hobbies (although I’ve been too busy

to enjoy them recently) are camping

and hiking, listening to and playing/writing music.
