Last weekend was our Parish Commitment Weekend for the
2020 Annual Catholic Appeal. If you have not yet completed
your card, please prayerfully make your pledge and return it
to the church office. Our goal is to have 100% participation
in our church family that is the Diocese of Memphis.

Revelation: The Kingdom Yet to Come Perhaps no book in the Bible fascinates people more than
Revelation. Yet relatively few people have studied the book,
especially from a Catholic perspective. Revelation: The Kingdom
Yet to Come is an intriguing Bible study that shows how the
kingdom established by Christ in this Church is intimately
connected with the kingdom of heaven. St. Michael will begin an
eleven-week Bible Study Revelation: The Kingdom Yet to Come on
Wednesday, March 4 at 9am in St. Leo Hall. Participants will
meet every week to view an engaging video presentation followed
by a time of lively group discussion and fellowship. For more

Ash Wednesday is the first day of Lent and a day of fasting & abstinence. Fasting is required of those aged 18-59. We may eat one full meal; two smaller meals may be taken, but may not equal a full meal. Abstinence from meat is required of those over the age of 14. Fridays in Lent are days of abstinence.
Our next Room in The Inn will be Friday, February 28th and March 27th. We will have a link on our website and our Facebook page to sign up to help. Our hope is that we can all participate in this ministry and help our

Made for More Young Adult Retreat God has a plan and purpose for your life, but it can sometimes be difficult to hear him speak in everyday life. Come and allow Jesus Christ to speak through the sacraments, relevant talks, and an encouraging community of young adults. 20s/30s from across the Diocese are invited to join us on retreat. Beginning Friday March 20th evening and ending Sunday March 22nd after Mass at The Grove at Red Oak Lake, this retreat will include time for individual prayer, small group discussion, Eucharistic Adoration, Mass, Confession, fellowship, and more. Retreat fee is $75 and covers the cost of a two-night stay and five meals. Partial and full scholarships are readily available, however, so please do not let cost prohibit you from attending! Memphis 40 Days for Life Pro-life supporters are invited to join in the Memphis 40 Days for Life 2020 Spring Campaign to protect mothers and their unborn babies from the evils of abortion. Our Lady Queen of Peace Retreat Center will be hosting Ash
Wednesday Retreat Morning on February 26th, 2020. We start off
at 9:30am with morning prayer and confessions with Sr. Cathy
Galaskiewiez, OP, followed by 11:30 liturgy with Msgr. Al Kirk
and distribution of ashes followed by lunch. Retreat ends at 1pm.

Annual Diocesan Wedding Anniversary Mass The Annual Diocesan Wedding Anniversary Mass with The Most
Reverend Bishop David P. Talley will be celebrated on Saturday,
February 29, 2020 at 10:00am at St. Louis Catholic Church. The
Diocesan Mass is to recognize couples celebrating 25, 40, 50, or
more years of married life. Only couples who are celebrating one
of the designated anniversary years may register to be recognized,
and the anniversary must fall within that calendar year. Pre-
Registration is required. All registered couples will be presented
with a certificate in honor of their marriage anniversary and a
special reception will be held immediately following at the Clunan
Center.
