Beware Solicitors
The Archdiocese of Miami has been alerted to door-to-door solicitors presenting themselves as seminarians and members of a religious organization call Mary Queen of the Third Millennium, Inc., soliciting funds. Sometimes carring a statue of Our Lade, they may
ask to pray in one’s home, offer to bless the house and then ask individuals to sign papers allowing them to make automatic withdrawals from their bank accounts.
This organization does not appear to be legitimate and is neither approved nor affiliated with the Archdiocese of Miami or its seminaries.
If anyone has been victimized, please report it to the State of Florida Consumer Services Hotline, 800-435-7352.

The United Way of the Florida Keys is keeping an updated list of resources available for people who live in Monroe County and are in need of assistance related to COVID-19.

Catholic Charities continues to have rental and mortgage assistance available . Funding is related to Hurricane Irma. Residents who lived in Monroe County during the time of Hurricane Irma are eligible to apply.
The number to call is 305.292.9790. It is not known if they will receive any funding specifically related to COVID-19.
For people who are experiencing increased emotional stress during this time, the Guidance Care Center is making every opportunity available for people to receive support. The crisis number is 305.434.7660
