TAALEEM FOUDATION GRAMMAR SCHOOLS ACTIVITIES BI-ANNUAL ACTIVITY REPORT-2018 TF Grammar School System in an educational and
research project of the Foundation, which comprises a
chain of co-education English Medium Schools with ‘all
female faculty’ in the district headquarters of
Balochistan.

Taaleem Foundation’s Vision & Mission
Encouraging social change by supporting communities to transform into socially
responsive, intellectually and practically talented and economically empowered
assets of the state. Teaching children who are most neglected and marginalized by
leveraged communities to provide opportunities and education for all thus alleviating
socio-economic deprivation. We want to show them they can be ardent agents of
social change, and pro- vide realistic sustainable community development projects.

Academic Activities
An Overview
Taaleem Foundation Grammar Schools start their new year academic session in March every
year. Similarly, in 2018 TFGs also started in the month of march after winter vacations. All
station schools enjoyed winter vacation for two months. Except TFGS Sui re-opened in the mid
of the January, while rest TFGS opened in March. Distinct weather conditions have made the
difference for the reopening of TFGS Sui.
Enrollments in the year 2018
TFG schools encouraged parents to admit their children’s in the year 2018. At the start of the new
year, 2018, total 634 new students being enrolled. Mastung & Pishin school registered 159 & 144
new admissions which is a good score among all the station schools. New admissions are the prove
that TFG schools are working hard and efficiently to up rise the schools among the competitors.

Scholarships
Taaleem Foundation has signed MOU with Punjab Educational Endowment Fund to provide
scholarships to our intelligent students on the basis of their previous results annually.
Nominations are collected from all schools and forwarded to PEEF Lahore for approval. After
approval from PEEF, scholarships are paid to selected students.

TF announced the scholarships in march, year 2017. Zhob students got top positions during this
session. Mr. Shahbaz khan, Mr. Irfan Pervez and Wasila got TFHO scholarships in 9th class with
educational benefits. Whereas, Mr. Shahbaz got benefits in Pre-medical, Mr. Irfan in ICS and
Wasila got No tuition fee in the current class. TFGS teachers are working deliberately on the
students to get excellent results.
Educational Trips
TFG schools arranged various educational trips throughout the period of last year 2017. During
the first half of the year TFG school also exhibit few educational trips. On 29th April 2018,
TFGS Muslim Bagh organized an educational trip to Judicial Complex Kila Saifullah. TFGS
Syndicate's member Magistrate Mr. Ihtaram ul Haq has made this trip possible with his
continuous support and effort. Honorable Magistrate along with his team welcomed warmly to
our students of 6-8th grades. Students were briefed regarding different rules, regulation &
procedure to promote the justice, peace, harmony & tolerance.
AFAQ Tarbiyah Scholars Camp
From 15th April to 17th April 2018, AFAQ held a 3day camp "AFAQ Tarbiyah Scholars Camp"
at TFGS Zhob and on 17th August 2018 in TFGS Muslim Baagh. Objective of the camp was to
train the students through Lectures and activities on different traits of life i.e. Personality
Development, Time Management, Character Building, Power of Leadership, Self Confidence,
Seerat.un.Nabi, Meaning full life. Students from other schools also participated in this camp. At
the end of the camp certificates of participation 21 were distributed among the students. Four
girls’ participants of TFGSs will be master trainers to train further 10 students of TFGSs.

Major Academic Achievements
On April 30 2018, Prize distribution ceremony regarding distinctions after completing the
studies from TF, was organized at TFGS Pishin. Chief guest Captain Majid distributed the prizes
among these achievers by awarding a laptop to our alumni Ms. Najeeb, he passed the FBISE
SCC examination with highest marks.
TFGS Sui & TF Pishin won 8 Medals in HRAC "Art and Creative writing contest-2018". A
number of prominent schools like Sadiq Public School, Beacon House Public School, The City
School, PAF Sargodha, Army Burn Hall School, Cadet College Chand Bagh, Allied Schools, Pak
Turk Schools, APACs, DPS Schools etc were a part of this competition. Total of 2699 entries
were received from all over Pakistan. Students of TFGS Sui have won 7 medals; 2 Gold Medals
(Abdul Muqsit- Grade 2 & Mehtab -Grade 1), 4 Silver Medals (Hijab Fatima-Grade 5, Jewa
Sadiq Grade 8, Muntaha Grade 2 & Yasir Grade 2) & 1 Bronze Medal (Zeeshan Grade 1). TF
Pishin also who have also won a medal too in this competition.

International Women Day
TFGS Sui celebrated International women day on 8th March 2018. In this event teachers and
female students were encouraged to move forward and work for themselves.
Tree Plantation Day
On 12 March 2018 TF School Zhob officially started tree plantation campaign at TFGS Zhob
& other schools of district Zhob in collaboration with District management. Principal TFGS
Zhob on the occasion highlighted the importance of plants in the context of current climate
change which in turn the cause of Global Warming. She also added that our religion Islam
also teach us to plant trees. She thanked the official of Forest Department for his kind
interest and cooperation. TFG schools has started plant tree save earth campaign in Sui,
Kohlu and also organized Plantation day 7th April 2018, 10th April 2018, respectively.
Pakistan Resolution Day Celebration
TF Grammar Schools celebrated Pakistan Resolution Day on 23rd March 2018. Zhob, Pishin
and Kholu schools celebrated national day with full enthusiasm. School's authorities &
Students paid tribute to the National heroes of Pakistan for their untiring efforts to gift us this
beautiful homeland. National anthem with flag raising ceremony, patriotic fervor & other
celebrations like essay competition, art, speeches & skits were part of this event, which
reflected the Quaid's proverb, “NO POWER CAN UNDO PAKISTAN".

World Health Day
World health day was celebrated by the people all across the world every year under the
leadership of World Health Organization (WHO) to draw the mass people attention towards
the importance of global health. This day was celebrated at Asad Memorial TFGS Zhob on
7th April 2018.
It is an annual event being celebrated for years to raise the common public awareness
towards the health issues and concerns. Students & teachers organized a poster competition
among different classes to create awareness about the basic health. Students found this very
helpful to know about the basic health issues and they were agreed to discuss it at their home
and community friends.
Colored Day
TFGS Muslim Bagh arranged Orange Color Day & Color Day green on 12th and 27th April
respectively. Students of different classes participated and were very excited when they were
informed about the uses and benefits of oranges and how it tends to helps our immune system
and keep us healthy. While Green day with a theme of Leaf to promote tree-based ecological
system. It was aimed to increase knowledge about the key role of forests in sustaining life on
our planet through outdoor and classroom learning.
Sports Gala 2018
From 26-27th April, Sports Gala was celebrated at TFGS Mastung to stimulate the qualities of
leadership, tolerance, sharing and team-spirit from sports in regards with health & physical
education. Students participated in variety of games like; cricket, football, basketball &
gymnastics etc. Enthusiasm was observed throughout the event & even after that too.
Labor Day
Labors are important asset of our country so for their appreciation TFGS Pishin did
celebrate Labor Day on 5th May 2018. Students performed various skits.
Art and Letter writing Competition
International art and letter competition were held at TFGS Sui on 7th May 2018 and at
TFGs Pishin on 19th May 2018 in which school students participated. Another art
competition was held at sui at 26th April 2018.
Students were so much excited about this event and showed keen interest in this competition.
After the event certificates were distributed among the students to encourage them.

Other Events and Activities
TFG Schools arranged several other interactive activities at their campuses. To develop a
healthy and friendly relationship between teachers & students, the management of TFGS
Muslim Bagh organized a welcome party on 11 April 2018. Muslim Bagh also started
Physical Activity session 2018 on 9th, April to continue the healthy life style of our youth and
students. From class nursery to grade 2 students participated in physical activity
"MORNING WARM-UP" remains 15-20 minutes. Parties and get-together are part of school
system; through these activities it can develop understanding and friendly interaction with
students.
Participations in local & International Events
TF-SOS participates in NGO World Exhibition
The ‘NGO World’ arranged a full day Exhibition in collaboration with the Capital University
of Science and Technology (CUST) and Taaleem Foundation (TF). Honorable Chairman TF
Dr. Zafar Iqbal Qadir highlighted the universal concept of the World NGO Day, the various
NGOs around the world, and the people behind them that can contribute to society all year
around. TF-SOS Sui also displayed a stall in the exhibition to meet the aforesaid challenge.
Participation at PROCOM-18
Students of TFGS Sui and Mastung participated in various competitions of PROCOM-18
organized by FAST NUCES Karachi. It was a two days venture with different categories of
competitions. Students enjoyed the event and tried their level best. In the end students got
participation certificates. Principal TFGS Mastung Shabana Ashraf won the 1st prize in
competition of Creative writing by expressing extra ordinary skills in two essays while her son
Muhammad Bin Ashraf got third position in Spelling (B) competition.
Parent Teaching Meetings
On 23 April 2018, Parents-Teacher's Meeting was arranged at TFGS Sui. It was nice
conducive session in which student's reports of daily, weekly, monthly & mid-term & annual
test were shred & appreciated by parents. Different suggestions & recommendations from
parents & teachers were communicated for the improvement of student's performance as a
whole. Mothers also were found to be highly motivated by this session.
Muslim Bagh arranged another Parents-Teacher's Meeting on 28th of April at its campus. The
agenda of the meeting was to brief & to mobilize the parents about bi-monthly test coming on
30th of April, 2018. Purpose was to create the awareness about the scope & utility of this test.

Age factor due to failure & repetition was also sensitized. Community has realized now that
the things have been changed due to TF regarding standard of education, co-curricular
activities & teaching methods.
School Management/ prominent Personality Meetings/Visits
Visit of AC Muslim Bagh at TF Muslim Bagh
On 28th March, 2018, Honorable Assistant Commissioner Muslim Bagh Mr. Mirullah Baadini
visited TFGS-Muslim Bagh. He visited classrooms, interacted with students and asked them
questions related to the topic being delivered in class, and was very inspired of educational
services of TF especially e-learning & latest technology based scientific teaching techniques.
The honorable guest assured that he will do his best to solve all the issues of the school and will
give his fullest support in all aspects in future as well.
Visit of DEO and ADO Mastung
On 10 April 2018 Mr. Saleem Sarperah. Mr. Ahkam and female DEO from Education Department
Mastung visited TFGS Mastung. The main purpose of the visit was to make a collaboration in
between Govt and private sectors of education. They interacted with the students and
administration. The management of TFGS Mastung gave suggestions to enhance quality of
education in both sectors of Govt and Private.
Visit of Account Officer TFHO and Manager VU Sui at TF Pishin
On 31st May 2018 the honorable guests Mr. Muhammad Mudassir (Account Officer TF Head
Office), Ms. Humaira Butt (Manager VU Sui) visited the TFGS Pishin. They inspected all the
classes interacted with pupils. They commented on the diligence and discipline of the students
regarding their studies and asked them many questions about the topic being delivered in class.
The students were very positive in their replies and visitors were very happy to hear this. They also
prayed for success and betterment of the school.
