What is LyteSpark?

LyteSpark is a video conferencing and events platform for business.

We have recently launched an extension for Chrome to make your video meetings

easier. The extension has private and group text chats as well, which work like

channels.

At previous TadHack

We solved a problem: when person cannot attend a meeting via WebRTC, they still can make a phone call. We integrated

Apidaze.io to deploy PSTN to LyteSpark mesh video calls.

This time we took a red pill

to see how deep the rabbit hole goes

If you are offline at LyteSpark, you will receive SMS and will be able to answer by

SMS in a conversation (channel).

Everything goes in real time.

Our hack is:

not to replicate LyteSpark channels to Matrix rooms (as recommended), but

create rooms for channel-per-mobilephone-user, this allows to avoid any message duplication but keep LyteSpark logic

without any additional logic on Matrix side.

This is not how Matrix should be used, but then why we are here at TadHack? We promise to follow Matrix concept in the

future.
