Dear TWCF Members, Our second year as a collective giving circle was even more successful than our first. We increased our member-ship and the funds we were able to donate to our community. And we finished the year with a most exciting announcement: Ms. Lisa Maloff donated $100,000 to our fund for our dispersal in the coming years. We will be matching funds of each member with this amazing gift, thus increasing the reach and impact we will have on the South Shore of Lake Tahoe. Respectfully, Your Cabinet

TWCF: What We Are!

Tahoe Women’s Community Fund was created as a philanthropic leadership organization dedicated to building and engaging an inclusive & diverse membership interested in strengthening our community through the power of collective giving.

TWCF offers membership to every community member interested in supporting our vision of providing funds for nonprofits on the South Shore of Lake Tahoe. We have 3 levels of membership:

Emerging Philanthropist : $100-249,

Developing Philanthropist: $250-$999,

Sustaining Philanthropist: $1000+.

Through a simple grant making process, the annual proceeds from membership provide financial support to nonprofits that address pressing issues facing the South Shore of Lake Tahoe.

TWCF Timeline for 2016-2017

October: Annual Membership Dinner.

November: Areas of Need Chosen by membership (email vote).

December 31: 194 members strong!

February: 25 Grant applications submitted from local non-profits around Lake Ta-hoe.

March: TWCF members voted for grant recipients.

April: Grant recipients announced.

May: Grants Celebration Gala...
