Expectations• Every child participates.• Every child converses with the group facilitator.• The group facilitator considers the use of the language registers. • The group facilitator recasts and re-models language to enhance

the student’s word choices. • The group facilitator talks to students about the oral language

continuum (registers).• The group facilitator actively uses and expects effective
