Teacher Cadet Application Instructions

Apply at www.coastal.edu/admissions/apply

Scroll down until you see

“Re-Admit or Non-Degree Students”

Click “Begin Non-Degree Application”


This screen will appear.

Complete all information.


Select US Citizen or appropriate

category.

Select “No” for both of

these.

Then click “Next”


Select “Teacher Cadet

or “Pre-College”if you don’t see TC.

Select when your course will start.

Select Off-Campus and

Part-time


COLLEGE Information

Only complete if you have taken

courses at another College

(like USC-Sumter)


High School Information

Complete for all High Schools

attended.

Click “Next” when completed


You MUST complete the

Residency Information!


The Family Information

must be completed fully.


The Parent/Guardian

License and Vehicle

information is needed.


The Parent/Guardian

Employment information is

needed.


Select the Active Duty status (if

applicable) and then click “Next”


Select “Yes” for the fee waver

code and enter TEACHER

CADET


Answer the Community Standards questions accurately


Have parent electronically

sign if under 18.


It will notify you of what you are

missing. Click on each link to be taken to that part of the

application.


You may do #1, but don’t need to worry about #2

or #3.
