With new standards from national organizations, new proposals for federal regulations, and increased demands to prove accountability, secondary education programs are under increased pressure to effectively prepare future teachers for their careers. Given these increased demands, how do students who complete these programs view their education as they enter the workforce? Are they confident that their teacher education programs have provided them the necessary skills and knowledge to be successful in the classroom?
