Berwick Public Library invited local teachers to come enjoy some catered snacks from the Friends of the Berwick Library and prepared a brochure and slide show to help them become acquainted with our services, had a suggestion box and sign in book.

~ Providing materials for school projects and homework assignments.

~ Providing training to staff or students on how effectively to use and evaluate any of the library resources, such as online databases (MARVEL), web sites, magazines, reference materials, books and more.

~ Assemble thematic collections of materials, which are checked out to the teacher for classroom use.

• Find needed materials outside of the library via

interlibrary loan and other means.

• Assist with planning and carrying out literacy events and programs.

• Recommend appropriate books and materials for specific age groups or for a specific topic.
