CASA $750 CASA is a set of tools to be used to analyze student work to better determine why students perform at the level they do and to help better ensure that there is tight alignment between the written, taught, and learned curriculum. The goals of this training are to enhance teachers’ perceptions of all their students’ work, encourage depth of perception by demonstrating all that can be seen in a single student’s piece of work, and encourage conversation among teachers about what the work shows and how they can act individually and collectively in order to benefit their students.

Comprehensive Professional Development Plan (for campus and district instructional administrators) $5,000 Region 10 staff will work with your district to assist in analyzing data, including STAAR results, surveys, and observational data, to identify root causes of student learning struggles and build a comprehensive professional development plan to target instructional improvement in your district. Region 10 staff will assist in implementation as well as monitoring and adjusting the plan throughout the year.

District Data to Interventions (2 days) $2,250This training is a 2-day intensive analysis of the district’s data compared to the region’s. Analysis occurs at the district, campus, and grade levels identifying high priority student expectations that need more intense interventions. The performance of student groups relative to the performance of those same groups in the region is also included. Based on the conclusions drawn from the data analysis, a facilitated action plan is generated. Districts may choose to compare themselves against a customized group of districts for an additional fee. Districts with more than 12 campuses should contact Kim Gilson for customized pricing. The quoted price above includes 10 data binders, however additional may be purchased for a fee.

District Data to Intervention: Data Binders Only $1,000For those districts who would like to facilitate their own study of the data included in the Data to Interventions presentation, there is the option to purchase the Powerpoint presentation and data binders only. This fee includes personal delivery and consultation, district-specific presentation, and binders. Additional binders may be purchased for a fee.

Teachers participate in a one-hour module and then record themselves implementing the research-based practice. The recording process is simple, and through the use of the powerful online platform, TORSH, only requires a smart phone. The next phase is incredibly beneficial, allowing teachers to view videos from members of their PLC—seeing other teachers in action. The video the teacher uploaded is being reviewed by members of the PLC, instructional leaders, and the coaching staff at Region 10.
