My car, a daily commuter has 175K so its seen its share

of road abuse. I had waxed the vehicle about two weeksago using an expensive name brand wax and to my

horror all the little chips on the hood and around the grille

after about a week turned white. One of the guys at work

asked if I had followed a gravel truck or had been sand

blasted.

I bought the Black Box yesterday and although the temp

was stiffing in my garage I used the product. It was worth

every bit of the sweat and hard work. Although the paint

imperfections are still visible close up, from a distance

the car looks like it was just painted. Great product!!!!

I was recommended to the Turtle Wax Ice Liquid Car

Polish by a friend who uses nothing else. I am always a

little suspicious of the claims made by the manufacturer

but this time it was without cause. The polish is simple toapply, doesn't leave a chalky residue on the car and

polishes to an amazing shine with no problems.

I hope the finish stays for a good long period without fad-

ing back etc. but at the moment I am really satisfied with

the 'car cleaning' result. It is also very economic. A small

amount on the applicator pad seems to cover a very large

area without waste. I am therefor expecting my 483ml

bottle to last a long while.Time will tell but I expect to

continue using the product from now on!

The KD-AVX77 is the deck I have been waiting for. I

have always wanted my concerts on DVD in my

truck and now I have them! The Bluetooth audio is

EXCELLENT, pairing is a snap and the sound is like

a CD. The iPod cable works great and the features

this deck has allows you to image the music any-

way you like.

The phone feature using the iPhone 3GS is so nice.

Hands free calls are clear and clean, no one has

complained about their end sounding like you are in

a tube with the supplied microphone. No more

hiding from the police where talking and driving is

banned and no more aggravation with an earpiece

All the touch screen functions are easy and allow you

to keep your eyes on the road. The great thing is once

you get the deck setup, there is just a little fine tuning

for each source type and BAM, you're done.

Get one only if you love music in your vehicle as much

as live and loud!

I have used Mobil 1 synthetic in my cars and

motorcycles for years and it has always performed

well. It took some getting used to not changing my oil

every 3k miles as in the 'old days' with the dino oil.

Being assured I can run it longer in my vehicles AND

wanting the extra value due to the high cost of Mobil1 I started changing it out about every 7-10k miles.

That has worked for me over the years and I never

noticed any additional wear or oil burning.

I use 15W-50 in my Valkyrie MC, just started using

0W-30 (was using 5W-30) in the Mitsubishi Lancer,

and 0W-40 European grade in the Mercedes SLK

320. I just hope Mobil 1 stays with a fully synthetic

base unlike some others that use a mixture of mineral

oil and synthetic and legally call it 'fully synthetic' as

I'm learning more about this practice....

Andy via email, DUBLINI have a house built in 1905 with metal box gutters. Veryexpensive to replace but not repair with JB Weld. I had

small rust holes and some larger gaps as well as cracks

at the original welded joints that I wire brushed, cleaned

with acetone then simply mixed the JB Weld, smeared it

on and let it set-up then coated over everything with a

little asphalt roof cement.

Box gutters are a maintenance nightmare but the aes-

thetic appearance is no match for the era of my home. JB

Weld has undoubtedly saved me hundreds if not thou-

sands in repairs.
