How is it funded?

Our customers can now benefit from the opportunity to have a Biomass heating system installed and completely funded through an MCS registered installer. Customers who opt to fund the purchase and installation of the Biomass heating system can also benefit from claiming the Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI) and receive this incentive payment directly.

What are the requirements for Biomass heating?

All Commercial properties can be considered. To qualify for fully funded Biomass heating system, domestic customers are requested to have over 50,000 Kwh of space heating requirement for the property. There should also be enough space for the delivery and housing for the system. If no housing is present onsite there is an option available to customers for installers to build an outhouse to house Biomass heating system. This can also be covered by the funding. Customers simply purchase wood pellets, wood chips and logs for their Biomass heating system by one of the many UK suppliers whom deliver throughout the UK.

What savings are there for running Biomass heating system?

Save up to 50% on fuel costs and up to 100% reduction on carbon emissions. Customers opting to fund the purchase and installation of the Biomass heating system can receive guaranteed income from RHI payments for 20 years, for Commercial and 7 years for Domestic. Oil, LPG and Gas are often subject to highly volatile price changes. Biomass is a sustainable source and not a fossil fuel so is not exposed to the same risks.

Who will maintain and service the boiler?

Fully funded commercial systems come with a 20 year warranty and service agreement

(including parts and labour), for Domestic a 7 year period is covered. If customers finance

the Biomass boilers themselves there is a 5 year warranty on all boilers, including parts and

labour which can be extended 7 or 10 years.
