The setup - Team of 4- Your team is a collective project manager- You will make a rough plan of your project

- Then your team will implement the project

- In the end we’ll see how it went

Step 1: project plan- What do you need in order to make the project happen?

- People, material, skills, money, time, deliverables, ...

- How would you phase the work?- How much time and people would you reserve to each phase?

- What are the 2 main risks that may prevent you from executing your plan?

Step 3: Status

Project owner pays a surprise visit and wants to know the progress.

Step 4: Change

The owner also wants to have a queue guide for tourists.

Step 5: The deliverable- Let’s take a tour to your towers- Short presentation

Step 6: Retro- Let’s gather up for some lessons learnt

Questions to facilitate the discussion- Pros and cons of project planning. What is too much?- Which is more important, requirements or goals? Why?- How to approach changes? How to manage changes?- How can you follow up the progress of the project? How do

you get a realistic view on the state of the software?- How do you ensure that the customer gets what she needs?- Dependencies usually generate risks. How do you identify

dependencies of schedules, deliverables, people?- Why do you need quality criteria? When can you bend

those?
