HAMAG-BICRO is the Croatian Agency for SMEs, Innovations and Investments, established by the Government of the Republic of Croatia. The Agency is an independent institution under the supervision of the Ministry of Economy, Entrepreneurship and Crafts.

1 Basic eligibility criteria The Applicant must be registered and perform its activities in Croatia

Must be owned or under the supervision of a Croatian Public University or Public Institute

Must be independent or act as part of the Founding entity, or another legal entity founded by the Founding entity

TTO offices higher level of autonomy (as a part of Universities) to perform complex tasks strengthen human capacities (more institutional support to TTO offices) harmonization of administrative activities and implementation plan (public procurement, consultancy services, licencing agreements, certification activities, semi-annual reports, final reports, refunds)

TTO program importance of the project pipeline from the research idea to the market – e.g. PoC (public) program as a starting point for success next call preparation should be based on achieved experience of the all actors (TTO offices, researchers, program managers, HAMAG-BICRO)

TTO program successfully done although with obstacles/barriers (human/technical) successful in achievement of the indicators should be continued to further support and upgrade activities of research institutions in the phase of technology transfer

Conclusions

TTO offices the program has not completely fulfilled institutional goal: strengthening of TTOs within their institutions need to achieve sustainability, ensure identification of project pipeline for technology transfer

and provide good communication with researchers (information flow)
