DESCRIPTION
TED, TED-Ed, and TEDx Talks have been used to enhance management instruction beyond our classrooms. TED is a nonprofit devoted to Ideas Worth Spreading that started bringing together people from three worlds—technology, entertainment, and design. TED's scope has become ever broader. The Web Media Lab (www.webmedialab.org) has tested several widgets and gadgets to bring new ideas to classroom and online learning. TED videos have been embedded into discussions, announcements, and newsletters to generate online discussions, small group discussions, and post-video assignments. Thanks to these activities and more, the first TEDxFSCJ event is being planned for Fall 2014.TRANSCRIPT
