NOWADAYS ELDERLY CARE

Emergency Medical Service instead of domiciliary visit

At high age regular medical care is particularly important. However, seniors often happen to be mobility impaired and visiting the doctor implies major effort for them. At the same time, doctors increasingly lack time for home visits since their waiting rooms are full of patients. Their offices cannot be closed when an unplanned home visit becomes neces-sary. As a result, elderly homes and family members often call an ambulance in case of an emergency. Then the patient is brought to a hospital which could have been avoided by consultation with the family doctor. This is where our tele -medical solutions come into play. The patient can consult his or her doctor from a distance -together with a nurse or family member.

HOLISTIC CARE

Teleconsultation

Through teleconsultation the doctor can treat his or her pa-tients flexibly from a distance. Doctor and patient not only talk to each other via video telephony – necessary vital pa-rameters are also being transferred to the doctor ’s screen. Therefore the doctor gains a holistic image of the patient ’s constitution and can immediately initiate treatment.

ABOUT US

Medical and technical expertise

At Docs in Clouds medical doctors and engineers jointly develop individual tele-medical solutions. We are working hand in hand to bring medical and technical expertise to-gether! Our systems can be configured according to the specific field of application. For this purpose, we discuss your individual application area with you and carry out the necessary adaptations within the system. Our special ex-pertise lies in the so-called teleconsultation.

Personal talk

VIA VIDEO TELEPHONY

Doctor and patient talk to each other via video telephony. Communication can take place just like at the doctor’s practice itself – a familiar atmosphere is warranted. Hereby unnecessary travel time is saved and the patient consulta-tions can take place more frequently.

Patient safety

THROUGH MEDICAL MEASURES

Optionally, relevant medical parameters (heart rate, respi-ration rate, blood pressure, oxygenation, ECG) can be transmitted automatically or manually in real-time. It is even possible to perform an auscultation. The doctor can listen via the headset and give directions for the placement of the stethoscope.

Simple directives

THROUGH DEPOSITED TEMPLATES

By means of coloured cards, the doctor can intuitively give orders to the nurse (performing actions such as adminis-tering drugs, as well as collecting findings). Therewith, safety and legal compliance are improved. Of course, we comply with legal data protection regulations!

Open interfaces

TO NURSING DOCUMENTATION SYSTEMS

Through interfaces to different nursing software executed medical prescriptions are saved within the existing docu-mentation system and can be easily recorded and re-trieved.

TELECONSULTATION FOR ELDERLY CARE

TeleDoc: The doctor on site. Immediately.

The TeleDoc facilitates the communication between patient and nurse on the one end and the treating doctor on the other. Medical expertise is instantly available and the nurse can carry out prescribed measures in conformity with the law. Depending on the application area the TeleDoc can be operated directly by a family member.

And this is how it works:

VARIOUS APPLICATION AREAS

For inpatients and outpatients

“When I am doing home visits, I got my stethoscope and blood pressure meter with me and that’s all. And here I could record an ECG and oxygenation and breathing – I was much better equipped technically.

I was faster, more efficient and I had more information.”

DR. MED. RAFAEL WALOCHA General practitioner in Wermelskirchen

The outpatient TeleDoc can flexibly be taken any-where by the nurse via tablet or laptop. It can even be used by the patient himself or a family member depending on the application area:

• Mobile solutions for outpatient facilities or direct communication with the patient

• Bidirectional audio and video consultation

• Suited for every Windows tablet (bring your own device possible)

• Safe and sturdy communication technology (end-to-end encrypted, WIFI, mobile internet connection)

• Mobile ECG WIWE or patient monitor with heart rate, respiratory rate oxygenation and ECG

• Electronical stethoscope

• Mobile ultrasound

Optimized for inpatient care, the TeleDoc Mobile Mount can easily be brought directly to the patient.
