    1. What was the major learning from the training/project work?

    the risk hedging models used by corporate , that is which kind of derivatives they

    use to hedge this kind of risk, what would be the best time and strategies of

    hedging and what type of different derivatives can be used by the corporate tominimize the risk and maximize the profit.

    3. Give an example of a recommendation made by you that was not accepted. What is yourunderstanding of why it was not accepted?

    1. One recommendation proposes that investment objectives and strategies of hedgefunds should describe assets to be invested, geographic sectors where assets maybe limited and management trading style.

    2. Investors in hedge funds should be provided with tools to help understand risk inportfolios, to track the performance of hedge funds based on quantitative andqualitative reports updated at least monthly and information to analyze a fund's goalsand resources,

    3.Hedge funds have predominantly independent boards of directors materially free of

    conflicts with investment managers.

    REASON FOR NOT ACCEPTED: Actually this recommendations are for macro-level, and theinstitution where I was doing this research IIPM, did not provide such platform to support andpropose to the central governor of the ECB.

    But still, my project and recommendation was fully appreciated by my thesis guide and anotherprofessor at IIPM and my research fellows from IIM-Ahmedabad.
