Update: April 2018 This project, part of the high speed railway line Paris-Madrid (Atlantic branch of Priority Project 3), was focused on the station between Bergara and Hernani located in the Basque province of Guipúzcoano which is close to the French border. It supported the design studies and the construction of the new high speed railway line of approximately 66 km, subdivided into the following 3 sections: west section (Bergara-Ezkio/Itsaso) - 14 km central section (Ezkio/Itsaso-Tolosa) - 20 km east section (Tolosa-Hernani) - 32 km Due to the mountainous landscape, the works included the construction of a series of viaducts, tunnels, embankments and ditches. The project contributed to improving the rail transport services between Madrid and Bordeaux. The Action is closed.
