She posted a whopping OPS of 3.255 (2.455 slugging percentage, .800 on-base percentage). Gibson had arguably the finest single-game performance of any Lady Vol in UT’s April 20 win at Ole Miss, going 4-for-5 with three homers, a two-run double and nine RBIs. MOVING UP THE HOME RUN LIST Lauren Gibson now has 42 career home runs after a monster week at the plate. She ranks second in UT history behind only Tonya Callahan (2005-08), who holds the school record at 51. 19-GAME WINNING STREAK Tennessee has won its last 19 games and the Lady Vols have been strong both in the batter’s box and in the pitcher’s circle over that stretch. SCOUTING THE RAZORBACKS Arkansas is 30-17 on the season and 8-10 in SEC play. The Razorbacks are batting .285 as a team and their pitchers have combined for a 2.70 ERA. The Razorbacks are coming off a three-game home series with Kentucky from April 19-21. They outscored the Wildcats, 11-6, in those three games, taking two out of three vs. Kentucky. Arkansas is averaging 5.7 runs per contest while giving up 3.2 runs per game. The Razorbacks are currently o. 25 in the ESPN.com/USA Softball poll receiving votes in the USA Today/NFCA poll. In 2012, Arkansas went 33-29 and finished ninth in the SEC with a 7-21 league record. The Razorbacks fell

to California in the NCAA Regional Finals hosted by Cal. In 2012, utility player Devon Wallace was a first team All-SEC and pitcher Kimmy Beasley was named to

the Freshman All-SEC. Arkansas returns 15 letterwinners from last year’s squad, including seven starters and three pitchers. The Arkansas roster features plenty of power with six players with five or more homers. Devon Wallace

leads the SEC with a .631 on base percentage, 5th in slugging percentage with .813, and 10th in batting average with .393, while Stephanie Canfield is 14th in the league with a .380 batting average. Chelsea Cohen has been the team’s ace in the circle, posting a 13-8 record, a 2.93 ERA and 130 strikeouts

over 29 appearances, 21 starts and 121.2 innings. She has posted 11 complete games and two shutouts to go with a .242 opponents’ batting average. Kimmy Beasley has a 7-7 record with a 3.00 ERA over 21 appearances and 12 starts. Beasley has tossed 127 strikeouts in 91 frames, holding opponents to a .219 batting average.
